Tell us a little about yourself. When and why did you start baking?I have always loved baking growing up! Making simple boxed brownies and cakes with my mom and sister were my favorite; and of course, getting to lick the spoon! I started focusing more on baking and business in high school, knowing I one day wanted to open my own business. With support and encouragement from my family and close friends, I started selling my products and eventually made my first business card and grew from there! I currently live in West Wichita and bake from home. I'm also a stay-at-home mom to my two little girls, Brynleigh who is 2 years old, and Charlotte who is 6 months old. It's safe to say I have my hands full and stay busy!What is one Cake Stuff item you cannot live without?DEFINITELY THE CAKE STUFF BUTTERCREAM FROSTING!!! use it on almost all of my cakes! It is a lifesaver, tastes AMAZING, and is easy to add different flavors too!If you could bake/decorate with anyone famous who would it be?This is definitely a hard one, but I would have to say Joshua John Russell.Do you have a local baking business, or do you just bake/decorate for fun?I created Ginger Bake Shop in 2016, barely knowing what I was doing and just making/selling goodies for fun because my family and friends encouraged me to.
