Tell us a little about yourself. When and why did you start baking?I started baking when I was in kindergarten with my grandma. Whenever I would visit we would bake cookies or cakes. She taught me all the basics of baking. Fast forward 25 years and as a stay-at-home mom, I was inspired to start making my kids' own birthday cakes. I watched a lot of YouTube decorating videos and did a lot of research for cake and buttercream recipes. They ended up being a hit and people started requesting cakes for their special events. That's when I decided to start baking under Kansas cottage laws.What is one Cake Stuff item you cannot live without?I absolutely love Cakes Stuff's options for disco dust. I love glitter and all things shiny, so I'm always looking for any excuse to buy and use it!If you could bake/decorate with anyone famous who would it be?If I had the chance I would love to bake and decorate a cake with Yolanda Gampp from How To Cake It. I have learned most of my decorating skills from watching her videos.
