Tell us a little about yourself. When and why did you start baking?I have been baking as long as I can remember. I used to help my mom make cakes when I was little and ventured out on my own in high school, but have really baked most since my son was born. I have enjoyed baking for himWhat is one baking item you cannot live without?The one Cake Stuff item I cannot live without is the staff! They have always helped me match colors, find things and encourage my creativity. All the stuff in the store is awesome!! I love vanilla bean paste.If you could bake/decorate with anyone famous who would it be?I would love to decorate with Buddy Valastro. My son and I love watching The Cake Boss and it would be amazing to decorate with him..Do you have a local baking business, or do you just bake/decorate for fun?I bake for friends and family. It is always a joy to see the reactions and happiness my baking gives. It warms my heart. My husband and I are venturing into a food truck business Shane's Shmoke Shack where my baking will be part of the menu.
