Tell us a little about yourself. When and why did you start baking?My name is Alexis Martinez. I'm a stay-at-home-mom of a 2-year-old & a 4-year-old. Over a year ago, I started out making chocolate-covered strawberries just for fun not thinking I would actually love it BUT I was wrong!! In February 2021, I expanded my sweets menu and started baking cakes. Baking is like my therapy. Something I absolutely love to do & am very passionate about!What is one Cake Stuff item you cannot live without?The Cake Stuff item I cannot live without is the sprinkles. I can never not leave without adding some new sprinkles to my collection! Oh, and also the LorAnnoils!If you could bake/decorate with anyone famous who would it be?If I could bake decorate with anyone famous it would be Buddy Valastro or Duff Goldman. Both are crazy talented!Do you have a local baking business, or do you just bake/decorate for fun?I have a local business with my husband.
